David Lafleur is a dancer from Gatineau, Quebec and was a competitive team member at École de Danse Anick McConnell for the past 10 years. In his time as a competitive dancer, he won several titles and scholarships in many competitions across North America. He also participated in The Toronto International Tap Dance Festival as being apart of Mr. Ted Louis Levy’s Residency Program. Although tap has always been his favorite, he also trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop and contemporary and passed, with excellent marks, multiple tap, ballet and jazz exam (RAD, ADAPT) at advanced levels. Now, in addition to studying at the University of Ottawa in Human Kinetics, emphasizing on biophysical sciences (BScHK), David has the opportunity to teach, help and mentor young dancers in a studio environment.
