Born in the GTA, Cori has been heavily involved in the Toronto tap scene for the past 7 years teaching, performing and producing. A sought after teacher and choreographer, she has had the opportunity to teach at Toronto Rhythm Initiative’s youth intensive, Performing Arts BC Provincial Festival, and Dance Masters of Canada to name a few. In 2014, Cori was brought on as Assistant Choreographer for the North American tour of the Starvox production, “EVIL DEAD the Musical”. Performing credits include the 2014 Toronto Body Percussion Festival, Tapperfest, Allison Toffan and Josh Grossman’s Big Band Tap Revue with the Toronto Jazz Orchestra, The Whole Shebang: Taken By Night, a Dance Ontario production: Dance Weekend ’16, the 2018 Dusk Dances in Withrow Park with Toffan Rhythm Projects, Fall For Dance North's Perspective in Rhythms, and was a featured artist for the 2019 Vegetarian Food Festival. She has also had the pleasure of performing Lisa La Touche’s choreography on numerous occasions, including the 2014 Toronto’s Choreographers Ball and the 2014 Eastern Canadian Tap Conference. Cori co-hosted the closing tap jam and was a part of the commissioned work of Johnathan Morin for the first Toronto International Tap Dance Festival in 2017, produced by Toffan Rhythm Projects. In 2015, Cori and Johnathan Morin established their tap dance company, Rhythm & Sound, having annual performances in Toronto. In 2017, Rhythm & Sound was presented in Edmonton at the Feats Festival of Dance. Cori continues to share her passion for tap dance through teaching, performing and producing.
