Julia Leclerc began her journey of dance at age 2 and has been hooked ever since. As a competitive dancer for 13 years, Julia has trained in multiple genres of dance including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz and tap. Upon getting more heavily involved in the tap dance community, she has trained and performed with Toronto Rhythm Initiative under the direction of Allison Toffan and Juliana Kelly, as well as being a member of Ryan Foley’s professional company at the Tap Dance Centre. Julia has recently been part of a residency program where she had the chance to study and work closely with Ted Louis Levy, as part of the first ever Toronto International Tap Dance Festival. Currently, she is attending Sheridan College to complete the Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance degree. Julia is so excited to be back with Rhythm and Sound in this year’s show!
